Another interesting article from Ahrefs about SEO competitor analysis. I've started using Ahrefs quite a bit recently, and I found it really useful.

The post breaks down how to reverse-engineer your competitors’ SEO strategies, from keywords to backlinks:

1️⃣ You can find your real SEO competitors using Ahrefs Organic Competitors report.

2️⃣ The Content Gap report shows which keywords your competitors rank for but you don’t. That’s instant topic inspiration right there.

3️⃣ The Link Intersect tool reveals all the sites linking to your competitors but not to you - basically a hit list for link-building.

4️⃣ Loved the idea with "broken pages" - you can find competitor pages that no longer exist, recreate something better, and ask those linking sites to update their links to yours.
