Goals vs aims and why identity matters

🤔 Lately, I’ve started noticing that some people don’t see the difference between goals and aims.

They set goals like "read a book" or "run a marathon," but they never ask who they want to become.

Goals are about outcomes. Aims are about identity.

And what truly matters is regularity. It’s not enough to hit the gym for a week or even a few months - real change comes when it becomes part of your life.

When you shift from "I want to read" to "I want to be a reader," or from "I want to work out" to "I want to be someone who moves every day".

Small wins stack up as proof of your becoming.
