Quantum computing and public-key encryption risks explained

Can you imagine the chaos quantum computing could bring?

Everything tied to public-key encryption would be at risk - Bitcoin/SSL/TLS/VPN/SSH… the list keeps going.

Google’s Willow achieved a breakthrough: solved a problem in minutes that would take classical computers 10 septillion years. It proved quantum error correction works and another step toward practical quantum machines.

The current chip is 105 qubits but the goal is 1 million qubits for real-world use (e.g. drug design, chemistry, materials, encryption? 😈).

The governments see huge potential here, and here's the proof:

🇨🇳 China is investing around $15B through a centralized state program. 🇺🇸 The US, led by Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia, is building an ecosystem. 🇬🇧 The UK aims to become a third major power.

Do you feel it? We survived crypto hype, got bored of AI hype, and now welcome Season 3: Quantum Havoc. 🍿
