Google Gemini Diffusion could change how text is generated

Meanwhile, Google has released Gemini Diffusion, which I somehow missed. Check out the video and see how it performs (🚀 just a couple of seconds for a response!)

Gemini Diffusion follows a step-by-step creative process, kind of like gradually forming an idea. It’s different from regular models like ChatGPT, which generate text word by word in a straight line.

It may use a diffusion process to build or refine text, which could make it better at handling complex edits or generating high-quality, coherent content.

In other words: ChatGPT (and most language models) writes text word by word, while Gemini Diffusion might "imagine" the full meaning and then refine it step by step, like polishing a rough draft. 🤯
