Skipping breakfast, depression risk, and the HALT check

OK, that's interesting - studies show that skipping breakfast is strongly associated with 83% higher risk of depression (400k+ participants).

For me it's a great reminder that the body and mind are not separated as we tend to think. I once read about a very simple concept called HALT.

Before reacting to how you feel, check four things:

Hungry Angry Lonely Tired

It has helped so many times in the past.

The only problem is remembering to use it when you need it.
