AI Agents Replace B Players, Not A Players

AI agents aren’t replacing the best people - they’re replacing the average ones. The B players who do their job decently but without spark, without consistency, or with too much drama/delays/forgotten follow-ups.

AI doesn’t need to be better than a human. It just needs to be "good enough" - always on, zero ego. For most repeatable/boring work, that’s enough.

A-players aren’t going anywhere - they’ll thrive. Because they’ll be the ones orchestrating fleets of AI agents - managing, optimizing, and directing them with human creativity/judgement.

What AI can’t do (...yet):

  • Strategic thinking
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Complex relationships
  • Judgment under ambiguity

The line between being replaced and being irreplaceable might come down to how well you work with AI, not whether you can outcompete it.

1️⃣ Identify your B players and upgrade/help them evolve. 2️⃣ Invest like crazy in your A players.
