Why reading to kids strengthens bonds and brain development

I can't stop recomending it to everyone who has kids - read it to your kids. Especially fathers because it makes stronger bonds with them. It also quite fun to see reactions and to switch yourself our of your work especially if during reading you ask questions and discuss the story together.

There is a study that says that it also stronger brain activation during listening - a region invovled in language meaning, imagenry, narrative comprehension.

The reading also helps preschool kids to develop skills used later for independent reading.

If you don’t do that, you should start right from this evening!
