Stack Overflow’s AI push doubles revenue to $115M

Remember when I wrote about Stack Overflow’s death? Well, here’s another take - and it shows that nothing is purely black or white. There’s a huge 50-shades-of-grey area in between.

‼️ Revenue doubled to $115M BECAUSE of AI ‼️

They introduced Stack Internal (AI trained on SO data). It's already used by 25,000 companies and also provided data licensing to AI labs (like Reddit) and ... as many other commented devs still use StackOverflow for hard problems LLMs struggle with.

Basically it means that their asset is curated knowledge that can be used for LLMs training.

I'm still not sure how sustainable if it's sustainable but looks like the death reports were exaggerated. Thoughts?
