China might be much closer to EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet) chipmaking than people thought. Former ASML engineers allegedly helped reverse-engineer parts of the machine. You know how it works ... knowledge travels. 📚

I remember that forecast - China is 10–15 years behind. I never really bought it. You shouldn’t underestimate the power of a collective mind.

As I’ve said before, China has strong technical education, solid universities, and real engineering depth. Technological progress there was always just a matter of time. I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear about serious results in the next couple of years ... maybe even sooner.
