OpenAI Cash Burn and Why Gemini or China Could Win
Have you noticed this? OpenAI always seems cash-hungry - constantly needing more and more money. And one big reason is simple: they’re burning more cash than they’re actually earning.
In the long run, I’m betting more on Gemini or Chinese players than on OpenAI.
Google has steady cash flow, experience, technology.
China has government backing - which is basically massive cash flow - plus a huge pool of scientists, enormous amounts of data (just look at TikTok), serious infrastructure, and large-scale nuclear power capacity to support energy-hungry compute.
